I've been meaning to check out the complete discography of TBDM ever since Verminous came out. Although I'm way too late to the real party, I can finally apprechiate this great music. This album has to be one of their best.

Ritual is easily my second favorite TBDM album. And that's simply because it showcases the band's diversity and penchant for adventurous songwriting. Another plus is that it's considerably longer than their other albums and makes for a good way to introduce folks to these guys' music. π

Probably BDM's singular best album. If someone told me they were interested in the band, but they could only own or listen to one album, I'd tell them to get this one.
50% longer than most of their other releases with more varied/ambitious songwriting. Retains all of the savagery, melody and has top notch production. Fully committed performances across the board. Favorite track: Malenchanments of the Necrosphere.
