One of my favorite bands since middle school. I’m now nearly 30 and they’re still crushing. This album means a lot to me. We could have lost the band. Instead, we have an incredibly sick lineup and some incredibly sick songs. Definitely one of my top 5 albums of theirs.
Favorite track: Asserting Dominion.

def my aoty from 2023. Extreme, almost proggy metal with some of the most topical lyricism in this post 2020 world. Beautiful, modulated vocals help paint a very bleak world, with the sing song nature of the choruses in a lot of the tracks making them undenyingly fun sing-a-longs. But those guitars , bass, DRUMS...all mixed to BRUTAL perfection. An instant classic, and better than like 80% of all previous metal ever recorded, even CD's previous efforts.
